GreatArtisans is a venue where you can sell your work but you do not pay us a commission. Once you join, you can add a Paypal button to each item pictured on your web page so visitors can buy directly from you. Or you can add a link to your website.
We take NO commissions on your sales
We will help promote your work by advertising on Google, Yahoo and other major search and directory engines. We have a search engine specialist (Jon Ellman) as one of our co-founders so you can be assured that we will do everything to increase your exposure from optimized, organic searches. It is like having your own marketing firm.
As a member, you have access to other arts and crafters through our forums - learn about craft fairs, suppliers, marketing tips and more.
With membership, you receive the ability to create web pages that you can use as your own web site. Use a link to refer customers directly to your page. You can add a blog also.
As GreatArtisans grows, we will be adding the ability to add videos, create wiki articles and increase your exposure by advertising on the home page.
Our goal is to develop a community of arts and crafters by providing an online arts and crafts fair environment with each artisan receiving a "Virtual BoothTM" where they can display, market and sell their work.
We will provide each subscribed artisan with marketing and promotion tips and tools, assistance setting up their web page and ongoing website advertising and promotion to bring potential buyers to their web pages.
We do not host or provide e-commerce services, but will provide you with simple tutorials for setting up your own store and linking to our site. Therefore we will never charge, interfere, and for that matter, retain responsibility for any transactions resulting from our site.
For those who cannot or do not have the time to create a website for themselves, we offer "Let Us Help" service to set up and add your images. This service is FREE for 10 images of users at the Platinum level and 5 images of users at the Gold level.
For $25.00 we will set up all your web pages including a home page with your image and information, 5 images (with watermark, if you like)and paypal links so your customers can buy directly. Contact us for more information.
